Curl power with rageaze

KATE Moss, Lily Allen and Sarah Harding have all recently been spotted showing off their curl power.

And the trend for part-time perms and wavy locks has received a further boost thanks to an innovative new Wharf business.

Rageaze Twist and Curl wraps are soon to hit the High Street thanks to the efforts of Boardwalk Place residents Lesley Buckley and Jim Weir.

The revolutionary hair products are a 21st century twist on old-fashioned rags – a back to basics method of curling hair using torn up strips of cotton.

Co-director Lesley, who also runs Slimming World sessions in Canary Wharf, said: “They’re getting ever so popular and they’re great for people who don’t want to damage their hair or get a perm.”

Each pack, which costs under £5, contains 25 wraps which are impregnated with a special serum, especially developed by a hair stylist friend of Lesley’s.

Individual wraps can be twisted around segments of hair from root to tip and left for an hour or longer, depending on what look is desired.

When the wrap is unravelled, it reveals a bouncing head of hair that will stay curly until you wash it.

As they are easy to use, work on all kinds of hair and require no heating with curling tongs or damaging chemicals, they have already been praised by style magazines.

And shipments have been made all over the globe, including Romania and Dubai, countries where there is a huge demand.

Lesley is currently in talks with a big high street fashion and beauty name and the brand should be hitting stores later this spring.

But if you want to wave goodbye to straight hair straight away, you can order a pack online from www.rageaze.com.

Packs of Sleek and Shine wraps are also available from Rageaze, wraps which can be wiped over hair to apply instant shine and gloss if you can’t easily style your hair.

The Sleek and Shine wraps could even be rolled out to include pet grooming products.
