IT’S ALL happening down at 41 Millharbour.

A Lebanese restaurant is set to open in the luxury Isle of Dogs development, joining two other brand new businesses next door on the ground floor.

Byblos Harbour is due to welcome its first diners in the middle of March, and will feature an open kitchen, stylish bar area and two levels of dining, capable of serving traditional Lebanese food and grills to up to 80 diners at any one time.

Restaurant owner Aboud Grimesty said: “Lebanese food has really been taking London by storm recently.
“The City has lots of Lebanese restaurants, but I found that this area has nothing. We’re also planning to have live music on the weekends and belly dancers.”

The restaurant is named after the Lebanese city, which is said to be the oldest in the world.

Byblos Harbour overlooks Millwall Dock and is found next to dental clinic Millharbour Dentistry, which is due to open on February 18, and a Power Plates work-out studio, also gearing up for an opening
during that same week.

41 Millharbour, which already has a Tesco Express on its street level, is a 10-minute walk from Canary Wharf and is found close to South Quay DLR station.

Residents moving into Ability Place, its colourful neighbour Pan Peninsula and countless other
developments that are taking shape in the Millennium Quarter regeneration zone will no doubt mean Byblos has no shortage of mouths to feed over the coming years.
