PowerPlates.jpgTHE POWER Studio launches in Millharbour this week, giving out good vibrations to Docklands.

The Power Plate venue offers the chance to gain a full body workout in just 25 minutes.
It also runs courses for people wanting to target specific problem areas or for those preparing for marathons, sporting events or ski holidays.

The Power Studio is a dedicated Power Plate studio – the first of its kind in Docklands.

It is found inside luxury development 41 Millharbour, which is a few minutes walk from Canary Wharf, off Marsh Wall.

The studio gives you the chance to experience a top to toe workout in under half an hour in an intimate class of up to four people, ensuring you get the attention you deserve.

And if you want a more tailored personal touch, you can receive personal training in a private one-on-one studio.

Power Plates are vibrating training machines that transmit waves of energy causing the muscles to contract in a natural stretch reflex 30 to 50 times per second, compared to once or twice a second.

The machines are loved by celebs, including Kylie, Madonna and Jonathan Ross, and due to their intensity it means a full body work-out can be completed in as little as 15 minutes.

They aim to increase metabolism, muscle tone, circulation and flexibility and are suitable for all fitness levels.

The studio will open Monday to Thursday from 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-6pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
