DID you know it’s cool to crochet? That cross stitch is making a comeback? That it’s no longer naff
to knit?

The rise and rise of organisations such as Stitch ‘n’ Bitch illustrates just how popular knitting has become and it’s not unusual to see bored commuters whip out their crochet as the Jubilee line grinds to an ominous halt.

If you fancy your chances with a needle and thread then look no further than the London Stitch and Creative Crafts Show that runs at ExCeL London in the Royal Docks from February 28-March 1.

If you’re interested in knitting, cross-stitching, embroidery, tapestry, dress-making, beading, quilting, patchwork and all things arts and crafts then this is the show for you.

It includes demonstrations and advice from the experts.Tickets cost £9 for adults or £8 concessions with children under 16 free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
