04feb14face .jpg IT’S no wonder a co-worker nominated Richard James to be a Face of the Week – his smile “lights up�? her day.

The self-confessed sun worshipper works for Tube Lines, and is hoping 2008 is a sunny one after our poor excuse for a summer last year.

Richard works in the Westferry Circus company’s projects department, but hopes to one day open his own restaurant.

He said: “I’m originally a northerner, but I’ve lived in London for almost 10 years now. I got drawn into this area when I first came down, living just across the river in Canada Water before moving to Bow last year.�?

Richard loves the Wharf and always makes sure he takes his friends to the bars along West India Quay when they visit him.

He added: “Canary Wharf is a totally different place on a weekend and a relaxing place to fulfil my three hobbies – eating, drinking and shopping – away from the chaos of Oxford Street.�?
