Face of the week

Our face of the week is shining star David Peralta, who is settling into married life.

David, who works for James Shoe Care in Canary Wharf, tied the knot with his girlfriend Anna Zieba just last Thursday.

The 29-year-old met her while visiting London for a concert – and is living proof that persistence pays off.

“I met her in a restaurant after going to the Royal Albert Hall. I put my email address on the bill, but she didn’t contact me when I got back to Mexico. But I kept the receipt from the meal with the restaurant details on it and called her instead and we kept in touch. I moved to London to be with her.”

David can be found working in Cabot Place, underneath the escalators, for James Shoe Care, which is celebrating operating in the Wharf for 10 years.
