Cirque du soleil perform at the o2
CIRQUE du Soleil is bringing its first live music and multi-media event to the O2 Arena.
Delirium was one of the top 10 grossing concerts in the US last year, rivalling the likes of Justin Timberlake, Rod Stewart and The Police.
It mixes holograms, virtual reality and multi-media sound and imaging with theatre, dance and acrobatics.
Phil Bowdery of promoter Live Nation said: “Delirium is unlike any show you have ever seen in your life. It’s awe-inspiring, innovative, and breathtaking. This unique form of visual, musical, and artistic entertainment pushes the boundaries of what people expect to see in an arena. The show has an enormous wow factor and spectacular style.
From humble beginnings as a group of 20 street performers in 1984, Circque du Soleil is now a major artistic organisation based in Quebec.
Delirium, which has sold out in 55 countries, comes to North Greenwich on April 18 for two nights.
Tickets priced £45 and £55 go on sale tomorrow (Friday, February 22) at 9am. Call the Live Nation Ticket Line on 0844 576 5483 or the O2 box office on 0844 858 0202.
