De Vere Venues is planning to open a meeting space at One Westferry Circus in June, following the success of two other sites in the West End.

The company currently operates 30 venues across the UK, all of which are purpose-built for corporate use.

Chief operating officer Tony Dangerfield said: “This acquisition really is the jewel in the De Vere Venues crown.

“Our new venue will offer the very best meeting space at the heart of London’s new business centre – with the excellent quality and service that our discerning customers can already expect and enjoy.”

The centre will offer free coffee and Wi-Fi, as well as a Steam, Bake and Grill dining area exclusively for conference guests.

The space is undergoing a complete overhaul to meet the company’s standards. De Vere already boasts four facilities in the London area, including West One and Portland Place in the West End, Holborn
Bars and Devonport House in Greenwich.

The conference centre specialist has pledged to invest around £50million over the next two years to upgrade its portfolio.

Mr Dangerfield said: “We have already seen the extensive demand for high-quality meeting facilities at both Holborn Bars and West One near Oxford Circus.

“De Vere Venues Canary Wharf is the next step in our vision to bring the De Vere Venues experience to all the major business hubs throughout London and the UK.”
