Top-name nightclub will open at the o2

He added: "It's a space where we will be able to do club and nightlife events but it has a much broader range of performance possibilities, from live gigs and concerts to theatre and much more."
The club will have a big impact on Canary Wharf and West India Quay's nightlife, with the O2 Arena just one stop away on the Jubilee line.
Dave Gunn, manager of West India Quay's Bar 38, said: "It's great news for everyone in the area; the bars near Canary Wharf Tube station and along this stretch are going to benefit.
"We've needed a club in Docklands for a long time.
"We've already seen an increased footfall from The O2 with people drinking here before they go on to a gig, and this will make it even better, bringing in a whole new crowd."
The Fabric association will attract big-name DJs and clubbers from across the country to North Greenwich, with Carl Cox rumoured to be lined up for the opening night.
Paul Oakenfold, Paul van Dyk and Armin Van Buuren have also been linked to the venture.
It is believed a consortium led by Fabric owner Keith Reilly eyed up The O2 after the closure of clubs in King's Cross left a gap in the market.
The purpose-built venue will be found near The Bubble, close to where the Tutankhamun exhibition is currently showing.
Afree river shuttle service could be laid on to allow clubbers to travel to and from the venue.
The former Dome has already played host to one-off club nights, from Hed Kandi and Ministry of Sound.
