A TOUGH quiz from a panel featuring the fearsome Dragons' Den experts was one of the tasks Dan McGuire passed to win a top award.
The MD of Broadbean Technology, in Marsh Wall, was not fazed by notorious entrepreneurs Deborah Meaden and Peter Jones from the TV programme and their fellow judges.
He was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year at the Growing Business Awards, organised by the CBI and Real Business magazine.

Mr McGuire has achieved an astonishing 1,300 per cent growth in five years (Deloitte Fast 500) for the online recruitment firm. He thanked his team, and also said: "I'm absolutely delighted. There are not many awards I could win in my entire career that have the same magnitude as this."
The 26-year-old recently featured in the Observer's list of the top 50 rising stars in business.
