Former us president to speak at the o2
LONDON'S newest music venue gets a change of tone next month when former US President Bill Clinton puts in an appearance.
Mr Clinton will be at the IndigO2 on Tuesday, August 14, when he will give two speeches.
The first starts at 9am, with breakfast included, and the second at midday, when attendees can enjoy a complimentary lunch.
The former president's appearance represents a major coup for the venue, which has been more accustomed to hosting big-name music acts since it opened at the beginning of this month. Although a keen musician himself, it's unlikely Mr Clinton will be demonstrating his saxophone virtuosity at the former Dome.
He will probably be using his legendary charm to raise awareness of the various causes, including global warming and AIDS, he has promoted since relinquishing office in 2001 through the William J Clinton Foundation.
Tickets for the event cost from #250 and are available via the venue's website at www.indigO2.com.
