Bobbie's date with a prince

A TEENAGER with lung and heart problems had a sneak preview of the Diana memorial concert when she met Princes Harry and William at Wembley.
Until last year Bobbie-Leigh McNally, from Byng Street in the Isle of Dogs, was a healthy teenager who enjoyed swimming and playing goalie at George Green's School.
But when she turned 13, everything changed. She began to suffer from intestinal lung disease, a rare condition which causes breathing difficulties and heart and lung problems.

Bobbie, 14, is now in a wheelchair, and may need a heart and lung transplant in the future.
On Saturday she had a great day out thanks to children's health charity WellChild. Bobbie enjoyed a lunch date with Prince William and Prince Harry, who is Royal Patron of WellChild.
She also got to see stars rehearsing their performances for the Concert for Diana, which took place the next day.
She said: "They were both quite chilled and really nice. We had lunch in the Royal Box. The princes ate lunch as well, but they were on a different table."
Bobbie and her mum Tracie have lived in the Isle of Dogs for eight years, and Bobbie attended Seven Mills Primary School in Malabar Street and the Alpha Grove Youth Club before she became ill.
Tracie said: "She does like the princes. I think she likes Prince Harry the best.
"And we loved Diana. I remember watching her funeral, and we went to Kensington Palace and left flowers after she died.
"I think that's why we were chosen to go to this day - a specialist from London Hospital came to our house and saw all our Union Jack and George Cross flags, and she thought we would like to meet the princes."
