CYCLISTS on Brompton folding bikes have become targets for robbers operating in Limehouse.
Police have taken action after people working in Canary Wharf complained that they were being mugged for their bikes on their commute.
An arrest has been made after police witnessed a man and a youth attacking a man riding a folding bike.

The victim was left cut and bruised. But two suspects have been charged by police.
Investigating officer DS Craig Robinson said: "We would like to put out a message for people on Brompton bikes to be careful.
"They have been specifically targeting people with Brompton bikes.
"At one point we were investigating five incidents in less than a month."
More crime prevention advice will be available on Tuesday (April 24).
Police and Evans Cycles will host a stand at Waitrose in Canada Place Mall, give out leaflets and chat to Wharfers about how to lock up their bikes and use data tagging to keep their cycles safe.
PC David Riley of Millwall Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "This is a safe area, but there are increased incidences of cycle theft in the summer, when more people cycle in.
"We want to make people aware of the options, how they can protect themselves from bike theft."
The day will run from 11am to 3pm.
Advice will also be available to motorcyclists and scooter drivers.
